The Conklin Family

These wonderful people are my “in-laws.”  Nik’s mom wanted a few new family photos and her wish was granted over the holidays when we all went down to North Carolina for a visit!  I was extra excited because these were the first official family photos I got to be in! 🙂  Once again, Nik and I set up the ol’ tripod so that we could actually be in them!  Our timer skills have improved since our first try.  Here are some favorites!

The Bressler Family

I met up with the Bresslers at Dolphin Beach in Dumfries, VA.  They are quite a crew!  It was so good to catch up with this family!  I also got to meet little miss Brooke who is almost 2 and already such a diva!  I loved it!!!  Here are some favorites from their session last Saturday.

Merry Christmas! | 2013

Last weekend, Nik and I ventured to Snead’s Farm in Fredericksburg to get our very first tree!  It was so much fun and the people there are so kind.  We want to make cutting down a tree a yearly tradition!  Along with exchanging Christmas PJ’s on Christmas Eve.  I always wonder what kinds of things other couples/families do each year.  Ideas?!  Here are a few photos we took during our first tree-cutting experience together!

That’s the one!!! 🙂

I was trying to get some pictures and he cut the tree down in 2.5 seconds!  So, here’s the ONE I got!ImageImageImageImageImage

We set the camera up on the tripod to get a photo together… kinda like a photographer’s version of a selfie.  Well, we forgot the remote and we couldn’t quite figure out how to change the setting to make it longer than 2 seconds, so we had to press the shutter button and run to our spot.  We were laughing so hard!

Merry Christmas from the Conklins!!!

The Doolittle Family

Elise is back and has grown so much.  She is almost one and a half already!  I love my little niece.  It is so much fun to see her parents dote on her!  She just eats it up!  We met at Miller Farms Market in Fredericksburg, which made for a nice Christmas-y setting.  I loved spending the afternoon with the three of you!

Elise decided she was going to do the tree cutting herself!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
